I was not aware of the potential fatal consequences of epilepsy until I heard about Alex. Now that I do, I shall seek to make others aware of this and to encourage them to do the same.

I didn't know Alex but have worked alongside his mum Gill for over 6 years. She is a good friend and shares many of my interests. We have always shared the fact that we both have similar age children and love to talk about them (and worry!).
Gill invited me to the funeral and I now feel I know a little of Alex from the amazing tributes to him from his family and friends. He had achieved so much in his so very short life!
With much love to Gill,Malcolm and Elliot

It's not much, but its a start. No one can put a price on the lost friendship. But for you, I'll donate when I can what I can, because you made me a better person. I got to thank you for it that last weekend.
I miss ya poof. Still keep thinking I hear ya calling me a homo back, just like the good times.
